A report is only as useful as it is defensible. Everything below exists so a Digital Hound report survives the scrutiny it was made for.
Lawful sourcing
The work draws only on open, lawful sources and the documents a client provides. No pretexting, no impersonation, no unlawful access. The line is not blurred, because a finding obtained the wrong way is worthless in a dispute.
Citation
Every finding is traceable to the source it came from and timestamped to when it was captured. A reader can follow any claim back to its origin. Nothing in a report rests on assertion alone.
A documented method
The same documented process runs on every matter, and the report shows its work. The method is repeatable, which means the result is reviewable, which is what makes it defensible.
Discretion
Findings are redacted where a matter requires it. Materials are handled securely. Every engagement is confidential, and conflicts are checked before any work begins.
The report
The deliverable is a formal, numbered Digital Hound Report: structured, sourced, and written to be read by a court, a board, or opposing counsel, and to hold up when it is.
